I for one am very happy that Kroger was able to step in for me when I had to bow out. Thanks Kroger! I do wish I was able to continue but I'm happy with the part I got to play nevertheless. Can't wait to see wholegames. Would love to get involved in a future one.
Finally, congrats to the Goblinettes for a victory well deserved.

np indri really enjoyed the game feels like I should really say cheers to you
as a new player I found it helpful to see how more experienced players think I'd definitely recommend this format to anyone who gets the chance to play Kro ![]() |

Were there any "well, what the hell are my team-mates up to?" moments?
Friendly fire incidents? That sort of thing? |

Re: Multiplayer test: discussion thread. | #6

We had a couple of friendly fire casualties some of which could've been avoided - especially, OB's second hunter getting missiled, but then again he was going through some @#%$ times in RL.
BTW: are the games already on LGA, I can't seem to find them? |

So for the next test, do our original teams want a rematch?
Or would someone else like a crack? |

Quote: Correct. I issue bogus username/password (for example, thall became "MPthall" in this match) pairs to players, and we've switched to using a slightly tweaked version of the client (if you're paranoid, I can show you the strings I changed) that will automatically use the different username/password so you don't have to remember to switch back and forth every time. - FW ![]() |

Still only five out of six sign-ups for the next match.
If nobody else wants to take part then we can do a 2 vs 3 match (30FP being easy to split either way) but six players would be better from a testing point of view. *sets alarm clock for Wednesday* |

Re: Multiplayer test: discussion thread. | #18

I don't want to sound too much like a Killjoy(sic) but this multiplayer thing with Team A vs Team B doesn't interest me in the slightest as a potential player. This is not intended as criticism for what you are doing, as IMHO at least someone is doing something new with the game for fraks sake - good for you, just not my cuppa, as it were.
Now what *would* interest me is a 4 way Team A vs Team B vs Team C vs Team D free for all across a map, ie similar to JGs Lords of Chaos. There used to be a PC game similar to Lasersquad in which you could do this, although I have forgotten what it was. If you then add the ability to still email/plot together/stab each other in the back and whatnot, then the dynamic becomes more interesting. ![]() ![]() ![]() LSN : Disaster Area |
