Ok, its seems ive not been ranting enough on this forum lately.
Rant 1/ Im looking at a picture of someones insides at work the other day with a supposed "manager" leaning over my shoulder. This dude is not qualified in medicine. Im showing some trainees the picture and pointing out some features of the patients condition , in other words,im teaching. Manager remarks "havnt you got good eyes to see that" I say nothing, just ignore comment and continue. 20 mins later I find manager showing another bod picture and trying to explain what it meant..basically showing off and trying to remember what I said and not doing a very good job. I havnt exceptional eyesight...im trained to do a job and recoginse certain things and have been doing it for a long time. I wouldnt expect someone who dosnt do the job to see what I could see. Manager prick has no understanding of what that means and obviously never will.
Rant2/ Dr Who. Why do the actors playing the Doctor Who part keep quitting?? These guys have attained a job thats the envy of many and quit after a season or two because they dont want to be type cast. Its nuts. Who are they kidding. These guys should be happy to have a good job in that particular market, the odds are against them that they will ever get another that big. Ok, its not hollywood but be grateful, they all aspired to get there in the first place,most dont.
Morale: I hate my job but know I will never be able to do anything else. At least im competent to do the job I trained for.
So many people dont seem to realise this and think they are something (or could be something) else. If you have a regular job that pays decent money and you dont suck at it just be happy and let other people tell you how easy it is. If it were that easy they would be doing it
