It's a game that combines turn by turn tactics with the use of a deck of cards to get your units, item and spells. As with the paper collectible card
games, it is awfully expensive if you start paying, so I didn't and won't pay a cent for it. Also, I watched some games played by paying players, and
found that the winner often was whoever spent the most or got the rare/limited cards, or found the unbeatable combination, rather than the best tactician.
If you play the free version of the game, your units don't get experience, and you are limited to sample decks (1 for each of the 8 races). However, the
game truly has some depth, with each faction having very distinct strenghts and weaknesses. As the free decks are of same strenght (more or less) and there is
an arean where you only can face someone playing those same decks (so the forces are matched), I played several enjoyable games already. Good site to check if
you want to play a short (10 to 30 mins) match when your LSN games are all on waiting.
