The single sentry will tag along to Oddie's guardian to get past the window and fence. The sentry and psyker at the edge of the map will go trough the fence behind the building.
Regen in bunker, saucer in the street.

I'll deploy my eastern support this way:

Looks like there's some deploying on top of each other
This strategy is otherwise good, but if they're spawn, we're screwed... |

As there happened a little overlapping deploy, I run my sentry and psyker down the lane and leave the trough-fence thing to Oddie. After it's done and we've cleared the bundle up, continue with plan. Try to get a look on enemy or enemy's shots without being seen.

The difference in time would be 2.5 and a tiny increment of second. Also, the explosions seemed to happen in front of the walls, not inside of them. The rapid rate of explosions on that area indicates several units there, and by missile shooting time, it would take 12 points to create that sort of deception. This definately suggests marines.
Also, we don't have the slightest worry about spawn anymore, so we can advance more freely now. Wrong colour 'splosions for greys too. Scanners should be pretty minimal risk also, until we get a positive visual on their lazers or units. It's 95% marines, we'll go with that now. What they're probably doing is creating an observation lane on the right for snipers, so they can hit harder with others on center and left. This means that we should advance under the protection and cover of shield over the would-be "covered" area of snipers, while my psyker probes for enemy incrusion, that I suspect there might not be much. This takes couple of turns to do. Before we achieve this, Oddie, move your warper in position to affect the central area effectively. In meanwhile, V, you should dig in properly to area 3 and make stable defences - be ready to take heavy assault on there. Be careful with valbus, as I take there will be eyes watching from 6 towards your direction real soon. My saucer could serve best to be hidden atm and strike at the flank of the coming(?) enemy, only to pull back after they start creating counter offensive against it. While waiting the enemy to come there, I will dig escape route for it. Guardians can shut down their shields to save energy if they have 100% cerainity for beign out of sight. Remember that the first impact is currently our greatest weapon if we can deal it out from blue. Only more important thing is to avoid a disaster while trying make a perfect first impact. |

Hey V would you mind to pop the doors to that building I'm hiding in to save my saucer's energy?

Quote: Sure! Consider them vaporized. Man, the saucer did a pathetic job with the wall Looks like they haven't got all that many troops on their right flank... although I think we should be very careful overall with so many units still unidentified. |

Yep. Scout and probe for the next few turns. Let's see what sort of deployment we have up against.
So far I think it's 3 'naders (1 to each squad?) and a sniper. 2 'naders are for granted. |

Quote: Aye aye skipper. Will try and "probe" some information Since it's 30 FPs, I'd say 3 naders is pretty minimum, and wouldn't be surprised at 4 or 5. |

i would say 3-4 nader 7-9 grunts 2 commy 2 snipers 2 bases 3 medics slight change between the them for your 30 points.
i would think they went nader and grunt heavy hoping for spawn. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Just keep on counting what we have saw and know for granted. We don't want to have that much suprises as we're playing with greys.

Careful, those commies pack a little too big of a punch up close against solo sentries...
Currently their certain units are 3 'naders. 1 sniper(altough I suspect that there is two in the left, and at least one in right) 2 grunts, HQ and a commie. If my suspicions are correct, they are trying to create a sniper alley down to the building we're hiding Oddball. See if you can do something to it. They're doing the same thing on your building V, same orders. I'll try to sneak that saucer tiny bit closer. V check with that sentry of yours if I can go any further than that bush I'm sneaking to. If we can get the plate up to any unit's face, we'll get to steal a point or two before hasty retreat with plenty of energy left. |

Just couple of minor set backs. 1. As we lost our eyes in east, we need to be a bit more careful on what we/them are doing. I suppose that now they increase pressure there. Hopefully the nader runs straight in to the warp. 2. The nader manages to succesfully blast the middle cover off. Harder to sneak with the saucer up close. There were gaps anyway, but it's a bit more risky now. It should go all ok if the sniper stays put/moves northwards. Also the commie spotted their forces for us, huge mass up NW. Ideal for warper/saucer. Be ready to transfer the warper to ideal positions for warping up there too. Not yet, tho, as I wanna see their offensive reaction on right. As for now, keep on what you're doing. LSN: M | ||||
