I like the new way of becoming a 'Field Instructor' for new recruits. It means that people who don't mind playing newbies and enjoy teaching can add there name to list and be allocated a recruit to train.
I have got an issue with the system though and I was wondering whether any of you guys had experienced it or have any thoughts.
I currently have 3 new recruits to train on our beloved 'crossroads' and none of them have deployed. In fact I only have 2 now as one has just dropped off my list.
Why do people sign up for free trail if they don't want to play? Or are there technical issues why these people aren't deploying.
I remember when I started LSN about a year ago I found when I downloaded LSN it was actually an older version than the one we are currently using and I had a lot of trouble getting my set up sorted out. Luckily I work with Arakis in real life and so he kindly help me sort out my problem.
Do these problems with downloading the 'old' version for freetrialers still exist? And is this why they are not deploying for their field instructor games? Any ideas?
