If people are starting to wonder why the new maps being made offiicial lately are mostly by map mods, um, two reasons really. First, we go through the map list in batches of roughly 10ish at a time, it just so happens that the last couple of batches have mainly been from the map mods
Secondly, it takes a lot longer to get maps approved from players that don't check back often enough to see the comments left by the map mods.
