A bit about security. This gadget requires you to enter your LSN login info, and that info will be stored on google's servers. I've taken steps to make sure my gadget doesn't leak the information via HTTP_REFERRER, so it is really probably as secure as the official LSN web interface, but I'll leave it up to you to make that determination. The only thing is that your password doesn't get the typical ****** treatment - it shows as plaintext.
Also, though I've provided an "add to google" link for simplicity, it is probably preferable for you to download fatcatfan.googlepages.com/lsngadget.xml and put it somewhere in webspace that you control, and load the gadget to Google from there. This is because, near as I can tell, there's nothing which prevents me from changing the file in my webspace once you've added it. So while it is secure right now, I could always change it later without your notice and thus steal your password. I know that I'm new around here and no one has any reason to trust me yet.
In any case, this is just the first version, and I welcome your feedback. I've tested in both IE6 and Firefox 1.5.0.4. If you experience any trouble with the gadget, I'll do my best to help you figure it out.
