Occasionally people have pointed out that if you're listening to music on your PC while playing, it's difficult to balance the volumes of LSN and your music player, because LSN's volume is set quite high. The best you can do is turn winamp or whatever to max, and turn your speakers down a bit, but LSN still booms over the music.
So, I have done a quick edit to Sound.cfg. All sounds in the game are played at 3/4 volume. Backup your original, and replace it with this one :
