Hi,
Is there any place I can find a list of the available maps to choose from in the free trial, and look at the maps? Thanks, Chris |

I'm pretty sure that trial accounts can get at all the maps that registered accounts can these days. Count Zero's excellent online resources include the Map HQ, which lets you look at all of them.

Thanks for the quick reply. I checked that page, and tried to start a game using the airport map, and got a message stating
"You tried to start a game with the wrong map name. The map 'Airport' either does not exist or is not allowed. Games played with non-subscribers are limited to a small selection of maps. Check the map list at www.lasersquadnemesis.com/Maps.htm for a full list of available maps" That link doesn't work, so I'm trying to find one that does. Thanks, Chris ps - I tried airport and Airport, both times it failed. |

Hmm... It works fine for me (using a non-registered account) on the web interface (here).
Are you talking about starting a game from the local client? If so, you'll probably need to download all the maps (there's a link at the bottom of the Map HQ page) and then add their names to the C:\Program Files\Laser Squad Nemesis\Configs\maps.cfg file. (Ignore the bit about them needing to be in lower-case.) It's much easier to use the web interface though. - FW |
