A tournament where players are randomly placed in a grid with each square as a map.
*some maps have inhabitants such as X drones + 1 splatter, X Grunts + 1 sniper + 1 medic, X sentries + 2 Regens.
The players send me a pm as to move North, South, East, or West. Every player starts with 30 FP of their own choice. Then each following game, they deploy the surviving units. T-method would be required. In the case of a timeout (assuming the player is still around) or a game that ends on turns, the loser still deploys their remaining forces. So you need to kill every opposing unit.
*HQ rule - you may deploy more than 1 HQ, and if you ever lose all your HQs, you may always redeploy 1 of them, but thats it.
The units on map squares would be played by players who would volunteer to play just a few units, some continually pop up to fight, some fight once and then leave. If no one takes them, I'll probably have to take most of them out, but they are just there to enhance the game for players who don't land in an opponents square.
*You may also stay where you are for a turn.
Its unorganized and an unfinished idea so far so bear with me.
