The LSN HQ League could still do with a few more players signing up to give it a try, maybe if one or two of the 'well known' names would drop by and make a challenge that would be great

This looks interesting. But I've never played games outside of the official LSN leagues and tournaments. Is it just a case of challenging people with friendlies, recording the result on your forum and then possibly posting the game up on FW's LSA?

Yep, you either accept a challenge on the website (there's 1 left at the moment), then send a friendly with the requested parameters, on the correct map, or start a new topic yourself saying what parameters you would like (within the rules obviously
 ) and wait for someone to challenge you. There is no need to put the game up on the LGA unless you want to. Then once the game is finished you post the results and LB updates the scoreboard. I'd offer you a game myself, but I've too much on my plate at the moment (yes, I know you're waiting for me now LB  I really will deploy soon  ) If you've only played ordinary friendlies and leagues so far, there's a whole world of LSN out there waiting to be discovered.... The most notable tournaments are the Alliance and Specialist Leagues, where you team up with other players. Both these leagues are starting again VERY soon, so why not have a browse on the forums - there's definitely teams needing players!! If you click on the scanner in my sig it will take you to Count Zero's website, which has links to everything, or if you click the banner saying Alliance it will take you directly to that forum. hey y'all...
this compo seems to be running out of steam - but i think an HQ league is a great idea, so lets have your ideas as to how to improve it and reinvigorate it!!!! i was thinking perhaps if it was opened up to machina too - a kind of 'classic lsn' HQ league - with the option of playing 1FP matches or something like that! hmmm... might appeal to the anti-grey brigade?     |
