in possibly the most bizarre ending to a game i've ever seen, pickupsticks defeats dukkha 15-0
city block isn't really the best map for fighting when you can't knock any of the walls down! he decided to make a stand in the top left corner, at the crossroads and i managed to persuade him to waste a lot of his ammunition at long range firing at one or two of my dancing units while the rest of my forces worked their way through the buildings in teams, room clearing as they went... encircling his position. just as i thought i had him, he made a swift advance down the road on the left (which took me somewhat by suprise) but i had a few sentries inside the buildings on window duty, and managed to inflict heavy casualties  seeing that they were beaten, his remaining sentries performed some sort of voodoo dance and then fell on their swords. bizarre! next match will start.... tonight, probably. Hmmm, have just realised Antpile is sposed2 b next. I'm not tryin2 push in before my turn, but im pretty sure he's away 4 a bit, he lives somewhere in Florida, and said he expected to be without power due to a hurricane incoming. Haven't heard from him since, and he's late deploying in spec league to. How bout we leave it a coupla days, then i'll take his place, but leave him at top of list?? Anyone have a prob with this/better idea?

deployments made, and match underway on The Stand.
i've played a few marine/spawn matches on here with the marines in the middle, of course. it's great fun. the map seems a lot larger with just sentries milling around on it though, hahaha LSN:pickupsticks League:Elite Timezone:GMT (UK) no challenges please |
