LOL The map is Boulevard and the current score 5 - 0 to Halforc. My Hunters and XTs engaged his AIs with less than impressive results. Posts: 87 23-Oct-02 12:47	Early reports of a kill to my bots was confounded when a lurking journalist showed secretly taken film of the champ blowing up one of his own Hunters with a stray missile. In the spirit of sharing caring warfare I swiftly replied by nailing one of my own XTs in the same way. However, both sides have taken losses in mostly close order fighting. Current score 12 - 6 to the reigning champ but he has an MT with no HQ and perhaps only one missile left and an AI that has a long red bar above it's head with no greeen bits on it at all. Still managing to quite happily shoot my bots though. With luck a stray leaf will knock it senseless any minute now. More to come. Posts: 2388 25-Oct-02 19:04 Halfbiscuit	due to computer problems I havent been online for the last few days, and have been catching up with my backlog of games. the score now is 16-12 to me, and my ammoless MT is now re-loaded after a long trek across the board. Posts: 87 26-Oct-02 15:33	19 - 14 to Halforc. I got his hunter looking to take out my HQ but lost an XT elsewhere. I've managed to clean out his units from the city side of the map but at a fairly high cost. H has his MT reloaded and it's now a question of where he tries to use it. He also has a couple of mostly scratchless AIs on the prowl. I'm pretty much down to old bean cans and biscuit tins. As I remarked to him earlier, I think I was equipped with the older barn door bots (as in can't hit one even when it's in front of 'em) while H has bribed the supplies computer (can you bribe a computer) to issue him the new "sure-aim" models. Posts: 2388 29-Oct-02 18:40 Halfbiscuit	Thanks for building me up least! the score is now 23 - 14 to me and although my MT is now rearmed it isn't really playing a part now. my 2 AI's are ready and poised to remove the MT and 2 XT's facing me now. Thankfully Least hasnt a AI to repair them, and He is better than he is making out, giving me a close run game so far.

Posts: 87 30-Oct-02 22:15	Well if 28 - 17 is close run then I surely am! LOL So far most of my units have failed to hit anything they've aimed at. I think the MT fired about 10 missiles before it was killed and I'm pretty sure not one of them hit anything (except my own unit, of course). So we're deep in the end-game. I've got two bruised and battered XTs left. Halforc has two AIs and an MT. As of the turn that just arrived his MT has fired a rocket down the corridor my two XTs are trying to escape along.
