Joegan continues to push forward against heavy suppressive fire but Halforc still leads 3-1 but how will Joegans AI's match up against the AI+MT team of halforc? more news in a while |

joegan's AI pushes up the right hand side, re-modelling the interior of the building, with able support from the XTs, striving to get to the Rusty's HQ, and stop the punishing MT barrage mashing up the left flank. On the left flank, joegan's 2 AIs have put in an appearance, taking out a Hunter, but a missile strikes home, exposing a Scanner and an XT, leaving them scuttling for cover. after 7 rnds the field is tied at 3 all, the questin on everyones lips: who will crumble first? The AI on the right is approaching but can Halforcs 3 AI's provide heavy cover whilst XT's and hunters duck for cover? This new improved AI we are seeing on the battlefield could prove a worthy foe for our marines out there; mightier than the dreaded MT? only time will tell. |

'pologies for the delay, was away since Friday.
The rest must've done me good, as.... Turn 8- my AI on the right shot a hole in the building, and proceeded to waste the HQ on t'other side, while 2 XTs, ensconced in the middle bunker area, finished off the battered MT. Hit, then they faded... On the left flank, it's not going so good. The AIs withdraw to lick wounds, after a third AI is sighted lurking. One of my 2 AIs on the left is beaten up real good, and I lost a scanner after some poor driving! Score now 8-5, j-H....shaping up to be a humdinger of a fight..... joegan

And, as usual when I take the lead, show a blaze of incompetence- leaving my left flank AIs on "Halt on Sighting". Their retreat halts, and one of them gets blown to pieces by an AI. Pah!

The right hand side push by the XTs and the Scanner left the scanner as so much toast, but the 3 XTs mashed up 2 oppposing XTs, and retreated back, bruised but unbowed.
On the left flank, my AI and a supporting XTs took out one of the Rusty's AIs. Looks like he had Halt On Move accidentally left on too (know how THAT feels!). Gonna be a big showdown, the Rustys have 2 AIs left plus some support XTs, and I have 1 AI plus a few more supporting XTs.... joegan

My AI has resorted to harsh language to scare away the nasty enemy- seems to have worked, his AI has blushed and is retreating (oh, to get more ammo. Damn).
Can't believe I omitted to bring an HQ, very stupid of me, I am going to try one last push to go out in a bang! joegan

After a last push, I manage to mash his HQ and scanner, but end up with one XT left, on 2 ammo, when the end of turn 30 arrives. Final score 22-28 j-H

Thanks to Joegan for a fantastic match, the score doesnt reflect the level of play, and I feel if he'd had a Hq the result would have been different.
