The current game is turning into something of a classic (IMHO)- it's 7-7 at turn 13. HB is clustered round an HQ looking all prickly with a very nasty 3 gren defense, while I have control of most of the map. I have 2 grens, 6 grunts and 2 medics while he has 3 grens, a comm, a grunt and a medic. His lack of healing should hurt soon, but I will have to close across ground which is becoming more open as he grens and commanders the terrain away, which should open things up nicely for his commander to pick me off.

And it's almost over.
In a classic see sawing game, JS Grunts managed to take down my fleeing Commander from range. That leaves me with next to no chance now. I've no cause to complain as my Commander's shooting was very good as well. It was just one of those games where all Laser Bolts seem to hit their target. Good game JS and well played. PS This game should probably go up in the LGA so I'll try and finish it. However I'm running short of time. OK...trying to do the maths...I'll make sure to play my last turn by midnight GMT. I generally get turns in between noon-1pm GMT and 9pm-midnight GMT, if that helps.

The game between myself and Hero Boy has ended, with a 19-11 victory for me on turn 29. A see-saw match with 2 very different forces against each other. I'll get my half up on LGA as soon as I can work out how to do it

karlmac and myself are in turn 4, 2-0 to me...and I think it might be another good one- we're on Blast Radius, and he got the good side of the deployment (i.e. the more protected left of the map) We both deployed forward, and turn 1 started with 12 grenades going off and no casualties. My sniper picked off his sniper with a lucky one-shot kill, so for one turn at least I own the exposed bottom of the map
Right now, we have his 2 commander strike team running into my grunt assault units in the buildings to the top of the map. It's already the decisive moment of the game, reckon. Grenades are flying again in enclosed space. Here they come! Aaaaiiiiiii ! Cheers, John BTW, how do I get the medal up in my sig? |

pretty much as john said. although the last two turns have now swung in my favour. one of johns grunts came face to face with one of my commanders, no contest there really although a second grunt almost took advantage of the same commander retreating, he got away with only2-3 health. The next turn my naders did the job of killing off the same pesky grunt along with a 3rd standing in the same area. john got a little unlucky with a bad bounce hanging mid air at end of turn so had to retreat out of a room. i took advantage and after the explosion took contol of the room and killed off the nader. the next turn sees my grunt and commander face off with one of his grunt. im pretty exposed to a nade attack so we will have to see how it goes.
my main concern is johns 2 snipers to my 0 snipers. its making open space movent a no go area. as john said he has full control of the right side of the map. like i said to john "i would rather have lost any other unit other than that sniper, even if he didnt kill anything all game just his vison was key" @john: to get the belt in you sig go to "my control center" then "account preferences" then in "use custom sig" type [i#mg noborder]www.lasersquadnemesis.com....jpg[/im#g] but take out all the # that should do the trick |

for some reason kraklath without mentioning why, conceded on turn 17 with me me losing 10-7 the game was very even and really could have finished either way.
