Reigning champion challenges next active challenger on the waiting list after posting the result of the previous game, if there is no deployment within a few days, the challenger will be dropped and may (or may not) be reinstated as the next challenger if he ever shows up. Naders are better when the trees are still around but there's lot of spaces opening up by some speculative nading so the Snipers will come into their own soon...

Posts: 3391 13-Oct-05 10:06 BeltBoy	IS sole Nader didn't have enough time to clear all the trees so the advantage stayed with my Naders against IS's Snipers. With time running out, IS was forced to attack my bunker with Snipers. I think the final score was 17-4. It would have been interesting if IS had kept his initial 2-0 lead and had forced me to attack him. Tuck will be challenged tonight.

I decided to save it off in case something ever happened to the thread. Paranoia rules!!! It has all of his msgs talking about all of his game rundowns during a period where he was still writing the Grenadier's Bible along with, of course, everyone elses msgs too. It is very fascinating reading IMHO. Would you be interested in hosting it Valar? If not - no problem. Regardless, I'll be happy to email it to anyone who's interested in it. Posts: 3391 25-Oct-05 07:55 BeltBoy	After a bad start for Oddball in which I was able to knock out a Nader and a Commander early on, the match progressed into a cagey affair with neither side risking an all out attack on the excellent bunkers on Encounter. I was able to knock out a few Grunts, a HQ and a Nader whilst Oddball took out a Grunt and a Nader. Neither side was able to give the final killing blow but I ran out an 11-3 winner. DryHeat doesn't exist anymore so JohnShields challenged. Map is Suburbia.

Never had a chance to get one and I still like to read about the "Good old days" when LSN was booming and I had the time to put into it. You can send it to cranq-at-hotmail-dot-com. BTW, it anyone's interested, I have movies of the sections of the Marine Belt games that I described in that thread. They're each pretty bit - about 10mb or so - but they show exactly what was going on. If someone wants to host them, that would be great. I still have a lot of Grenadier's Bible stuff that I was going to publish on the LSNGuide before it went down, and I feel pretty bad that that stuff never got out there. -------------------------------------------------- Grunts spot. Grenades kill. The rest is filler. Read about it in The Grenadier's Bible

JohnShields has gone for a Grunt heavy deployment with some Naders whilst I've gone for a more standard one. The current score is 4-2 to me and I was a bit lucky as my Comm 1 shotted a Nader from distance. However I'm under heavy pressure at the moment as his Grunts swarm through the buildings. It's still all to play for...
