The score is currently 6:3 to me. However, UT has knocked out one of my HQ's. This is by far the closest run Missile Belt match so far... Could UT become the new Missile Belt Champ?
I think I need to go and calm down before my next turn (  ) as I can't afford to do anything stupid!

Excellent game there UT! I wish I had taken a couple more HQ's instead of that extra scanner! Please issue a challenge to Ian within 24 hours so we can keep this belt moving

UT, you can pick your map anyway. He has the right to decline the challenge if he doesn't like the map. So challenge away!
If Ian chooses to decline your map choice he must post to the forum explaining this, otherwise we will assume he has turned chicken and the game goes to you by default. If Ian doesn't delploy within 5 days of your challenge being issued the game goes to you by default. Also if you do not issue your challenge for Ian to accept, you lose the Champs title and go to the bottom of the list and Ian and the next player must start the next match as per the same rules. Hope this clears it all up. Sorry if it sounds a bit harsh, but we have to keep the belt moving. UT, are you prepared to contribute your Wholegame file for the last game to the archive? I have uploaded the wholegames from both sides in the last Match. Those who are waiting to compete could well learn some valuable lessons from them... I know I won't be taking only 2 HQ's in future! I'm really enjoying my game with UT so far. There are no longer any scanners left in the game (I didn't take any, favouring the 7 MT, 2 HQ deployment), so we our MTs keep blundering about looking for each other, then driving right past each other half the time...

Incidentally, does anyone fancy setting up an Fragmentation Belt, similar to this one, but with the following units allowed:
Splatters MTs and HQs (no Scanners!) Grenadiers and HQs Warp Gunners and Regens I'd love to see how that would play out, and whether it would be even vaguely balanced... I could see the 'naders acing it, they might have to be banned... |
