As I recall I conceded at 7-6 or something cos I was bored. But as that's figthing talk, you'd better make it a league game then!

So GC do you concede many important matches because you get 'bored', is that how you got to No.1 in the league?

That game where I conceded to you was on the Golden Spawn challenge. It was what turn 17 or something and you were a point or 2 up as I recall with me having slightly more territory under my control, maybe 55-60%. What I realised was that I didn't actually want to win! It was so dull playing another competant spawn vs spawn player, neither of us were falling for the tricks that catch out many spawn players and the game was just stale. I figured that if this was what it was going to be like, there was no way I wanted to win and possibly have to face another 12 matches of it. As I've said before I try where I can to play for fun, and I realised that spawn vs spawn (certainly against you) wasn't. Similarly the Ring of Fire Belt is no fun either. Basically whoever gets the early lead wins. Not realising this at first I sacrificed a couple of naders as scouts. But DA for the most part then litterally setup a ring of fire round his bases. I did manage to break thru one to take one of his bases but took more loses than I gained. Hence I haven't signed up for it again, it's just dull. |
