If not or nothing is heard the next challenger may claim the belt. If the challenger does not respond within 24 hours then the champ must challenge the next challenger and post here. This does not count as a defense. If one player times out mid-game he loses (this is counted as a successful defence). Posts: 1749 12-Jul-05 01:49 Registered User	On the 10th turn I have won the Speed Belt from Baron Von Cox in a 15 fpt battle on Stalker. I think I had a small advantage with my slightly more balanced Marine force - the Grenadiers made the difference. Although I did have a scare when an extra Grunt showed up, as I had assumed he would have an HQ. Good game, Marines on Marines is always fun. Challenge on its way, Palerider! I'll send a league and a friendly with the same settings, reject whichever you don't want. Edit : Challenges sent.

Posts: 1749 19-Jul-05 18:15 Registered User	One defence of the belt for me now, after palerider conceeded on turn 16 at 11 - 2 down. It was a 15 fpt game on Renovation, and we both went Grey. Despite the final score, it could all have been very different if the first five turns had gone another way. I think I won it on 3 points : having a warper, splitting his force in 2 early on (this meant his two psykers and regen were virtually useless most of the game), and taking a lucky lead with the first kill in turn 5. I was worried after I deployed though - I haven't played as Greys since the saucers were 4 fpt units - that's why my first movement turn took so long, palerider - so it was quite satisfying. Challenge sent to LtMonkey.
