Here are some FAQ for those of you wanting to create avatars and sigs. Also, feel free to test your avatars and sigs in this thread.
Q. How do I display a picture as my avatar?
A. Log in to EZboard. Click on 'My Control Center', then 'Edit Profile'. Make sure that the 'private' box is not ticked for 'My Photo', and enter the URL of the image in the field. Scroll down, and click on 'Save Changes'.
NB The image should be 60x60, and the avatar should be less than 40K. The image has to be hosted somewhere, ideally your own personal web space.
Q. Where can I get suitable pictures for my avatar?
A. There are loads of great avatars at this site found by joegan: xerxelz.tripod.com/ai/
NB Navigate using the links on the left, and ignore the references to the now defunct GameSpy avatar page(s).
Q. How do I display a small picture to the right of my name?
A. Log in to EZboard. Click on 'My Control Center', then 'Account Preferences'. Tick 'Use Personal Icon URL' and enter the URL of the image in the field. Scroll down, and click on 'Save Changes'.

Q. How do I set an automatic signature (sig) on all of my posts?
A. Log in to EZboard. Click on 'My Control Center', then 'Account Preferences'. Tick 'Use Custom Signature' and enter the text in the field. Scroll down, and click on 'Save Changes'.
It is a good idea to include helpful details such as LSN name, league, and time zone.
Q. How do you get the description under your name changed?
A. This is called a custom title and it can only be changed by a moderator. As a general rule you need to impress a moderator with your contribution to the forums or in some other way to be rewarded with a custom title. You may also request a custom title, but there is no guarantee you will receive one.
Q. How do I display an image, such as a medal, in my sig?
A. Type [image]http:// before the address, and [/image] after. This EzCode [image]http://www.lasersquadnemesis.com/Images/headstrip.jpg[/image] displays the LSN logo. For medals, try to include alternate text for those not familiar with the medal on sight. Again, its easy.
[image lt=Featherweight/]http://www.lasersquadnemesis.com/medals/feather_0.jpg[/image] displays the featherweight medal, with no defences, with the alternate text "Featherweight". You can use exactly the same EzCodes in the body of your posts.
Q. How do I use different fonts, colours, spacing etc in my posts or sig?

A. Yes, tick the 'Preview' box before clicking 'Add Post'.
NB New rule regarding sigs
We have had some complaints from our dial up users that loading some of the forum takes a long time due to large sigs. As such, some new rules are now in place
* Any sig (incl. animated) over 20k is not allowed
* Animated sigs that contain flashing or anything that may induce epilepsy are not allowed
* Individual sigs may not exceed 250x90 pixels (width x height)
* Your total amount of sigs should not go over 80k
* The "joining up" of several small sigs to make up one big sig is also prohibited.
We reserve the right to remove any sigs we find offensive.
