Hiya Vasco, thanks for the congrats

- well that game we had still niggles me TBH, the infamous unexploding ball of goo incident to be specific. I didn't waffle on too much about it at the time, but years later I will now.

I had timed that goo ball to land at the end of the turn in the hope that a) it would prevent any help from a Queen in the ensuing melee I wanted to engage in, and b) if your Queen was behind that wall and bit through it she would be gooed down whilst the melee went on. Now I recall you saying that in test orders even if it did explode you could avoid it, fair enough, the only problem was that when I charged into the spikers( I think ? ) with my drones/buzzers ? ( this is getting vaguer by the minute ) instead of a scuffle it ended up with your Queen lunging into the attack and killing all my units.

However in retrospect I think you would have won as my Queen was nowhere near the fight, and ultimately I would have had to have defended that food, and although I don't recall where my other units were/positions etc it would have been a helluva trek to get there, could I have kept it gooed down for that long ? I suspect not, but at least I would have had a slim chance of winning, as opposed to none once that goo ball failed to explode. Also my experience with Spawn then was very limited, I had probably only played them a handful of times spawn-spawn before we met. So some of the basic mistakes I made ie have a fight a mile away from my own Queen I try not to get involved in these days.

As for going for the Gold, well yes I do intend to, but not just yet, I am trying the Medic Belt for that first, plus a few other silver attempts. However I do intend to sign up for it during the second half of the year...maybe
