Is there a trainer available or a way to edit the game? |

Hi and welcome to the game.
What exactly do you mean by a trainer ? We have Field Instructors who explain how to play the game to new players. And there's also a 1 player game to help you get used to the game mechanics (but online is where it's at) And we have a map editor in case you want to make your own map... |

trainer is a name often used for providing cheats in single player games.
Thinks like editing money, etc in other games. Simple answer is no there isn't. I know some people have messed around and modified some of the single player stuff, but there is no simple program that lets you do this. if you're having troubles with the single player, ask away about whatever it is you are finding difficult, people here are helpful. |

Hi, tanks for answering. It is always difficult to have an answer about trainer. I just bought the single missions and started them today but...I am not that good so I would like to be able to modify the game to increase my soldiers, health and be ablr to start the game with much more turn points so I can start the game with more units. Isn't there a way to edit a savegame?

The main problem with the campaign missions is that sometimes you have to use up the first attempt just working out what the map is, and where everything is...... then start again with this new knowledge. It is a bit of a pain, and happens much less as you gain experience. As stated above, the real game is online. You can just play friendlies, so you don't need to worry about losing league points, and will learn rather quickly!! If you put out a few open challenges (maybe a 1 day game? - don't just put out a single 30 dayer as you'll probably end up with a player who only plays once a day or something), then the chances are you'll regularly have at least one of the games on play turn.
Welcome to LSN and good luck - I'm sure you'll soon pick it up |

Weel this doesn't really anser my question here. I don't want to take the time for all missionjs, I want the game to be fast. If not, I find it boring. There must be a way no ?

1) campaign missions are boring, all the fun is in online play
2) there is a really easy way to emprove your troopers to insanity in a single player. Yeah, it's an editor. It's actually so obvious that i first didn't want to post in this topic at all, but i'll give you a hint: "Laser Squad Data.cfg" |

I have bought single missions and I then have 2 folders, which one is it in program files:
- Just play? - Laser Squad Nemesis? |

Re: Editing? | #12 | ||

It's usually:
C:\Program Files\Laser Squad Nemesis\Configs\Laser Squad Data.cfg - FW |

Quote: First off, this isn't an RTS. It's much more fun. Expecting to run into the enemy base and lay down as many shots as possible doesn't work, just as it doesn't work in real life. If you want to see some fast games then take a look at the LGA. There are a load of games that go over realy, realy fast. I could post a link to one, but Robmonster would most likely kill me for bringing it up again. They say that wanting to play fast games is something that younger people like, but I disagree. I'm 16 and know a load of people who love strategy games. A few of them like 'strategy' games like C&C, ('Rush them quick, lads!') but there are a lot of us who like to think. LSN offers both varieties. A game against Spawn when you are marines, or the other way round, can be a very fast, very intense game. Or Marine on Marine gives a slow, tactical game. LSN basicaly offers it all. Try playing a few online games and see what happens. I'll send you a challnge. Feel free to ignore it, but give it a chance. I've lost count of the number of people who play this game and judge it purely on the campaign missions without trying online play, which is a real shame. Add in real people and it gets a lot, LOT more fun. |
