OK, i just finished playing around JC's supernaders and one thing was a bit annoying. While all stuff like nukes destroying everything is cool, you can only enjoy it in the tests, because there are no units that could survive the explosion and have vision to whole map. This inspired me to modify machina scanner
What's actually changed? the "FiringHeight" is also a z-axis of the dot, from which the vision is calculated. So, spectator actually has an eye 1000 tiles in the sky and with even more amplified vision range (that works only in XY axes, i.e. being 2000m away from ground doesn't limit) it can see any change that happens to any part of map (well, unless you'll modify tileset and add 100-1000m walls). And to avoid death by nuke i've made his armor 10x tougher then military walls. As he doesn't really need health any-more, 2 will be enough. Speed to zero.
don't use the vision tool with this unit, it'll take take a lot of processor time, and you'll just see the whole map highlighted.
greys can still hide under guardian shield if far away enough...
