Posts: 2416 27-Jun-03 20:35	Tags : None Just been looking through the belts, trying to work out which month/year/millenium I will be up for action ( esp. that Marine one !! ), and just thought ' Hey, there is not a HQ one in there ! They are all Wipeout scenarios !' I wonder if anyone is interested, and what rules to use ( I know that Buzzers are lethal in this sort of game )so maybe rule them out, or limit their numbers. Any takers ? If not i am going to declare myself HQ Belt champion..... DA

Posts: 2416 28-Jun-03 09:57	Okay, but I have hardly played any maps as I have yet to reach 50 total games yet ! So, being an FI, what do you think for the map ? What about a minimum number of HQ's - say 5 or something ? Then there can be lots of big explosions !!! Or is this too wayward ? Posts: 2416 29-Jun-03 11:41	Okay , fixed at 5 HQ's. I think we need to stop an all AI loadout, so a big map is the best idea. Maybe even fixed locations for the HQ's ? I have also had another idea, what about a HQ game similar to the original Rebelstar Raiders ? The 'defender' sets up 5 HQ's to act as the reactor cores which the attacker has to destroy. The attacker only has one HQ - let's say , to represent their 'attacking ship' or whatever. The defender is not allowed to go and attack the 'attacking ship' ? VM: I think the medal will help and the fact that its easy getting a game. but lets see how goes. What map? - think a large map would be the way to go.

Here are my 'top 5' suggestions: Car Park Danger Room Milton Keynes Phaze Onslaught I have chosen the maps based purely on size, and large deployment areas. I have had some other ideas around the second idea, but will work on that in a seperate post ....sometime...maybe...who knows ? The 5 HQ's for the "champion" and 1 for the challenger would certainly spice things up, especially on 20pt loadout, although it could turn into a grenade fest for the champ, hey, but what's easy in life. Map wise, if it's 5 HQ v 1 HQ then Onslaught looks good, if it's 5 HQ's each then Danger Room looks the better. I don't know what Car Park and Phase play like... yet and I get a bad feeling from Milton Keynes, although whether it's the map or the actual place I don't know. I feel very sad (just kidding, i know that Manors is far from being as good i was hoping it to be for HQ games... and HQ War is too small for your taste) I'm just wondering why you are setting so much constraints, like no spawn, fixed number of HQs etc.
