I did add bytemark.co.uk to my exceptions list.
Is there a solution to this, or is there any way to tell LSN to use firefox instead?
Thx!

Whenever I connect with the web interface using IE 7.1, the connection stalls unless I delete the temp internet files.

all LSN does is run the browser that is set in your OS as default. Looks like that's IE for you. Just make Firefox default browser and forget about nasty IE

i don't know the reason, but you can set your browser to clear temp files on exit everytime.
in xp control panel select Network and Internet Options select Internet Options this opens the Internet Properties box, select the Advanced tab. scroll all the way to the bottom, and near the bottom (9th from end on mine) is option Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is closed. check this box, click ok. close control panel. hopefully this cures your issue lsn name: vom

Re: Browser issues | #7 | ||

The problem is that you have to clear the files EVERY TIME you open/reload any LSN web interface page.
Like this: 1) Clear files 2) Open web interface 3) Clear files 4) Select game 5) Play turn 6) Clear files 7) Go back to main web interface page just to see the turn is being processed 9) Reload the page to see the turn is waiting 10) Clear files 11) Select game 12) Play turn .... |
