This wasn't just boring for me, it must have been the same for my opponent.
The Greys need a way to occasionally move quickly, making an attack possible, perhaps combined with a reduction of the damage they dish out when they arrive.
My idea: let them teleport. All the visuals for letting them fade out and into existence are already coded. Let them move from a Regen to anywhere, but NOT back again; they have to walk back. They lose energy, depending on the distance teleported. Across a large map, they could arrive almost exhausted. Thus, they will need to establish a safe area to slowly recharge in. They could use a saucer to bring in energy.
This is a way to let the Grey player commit to an attack without giving him a hugely powerful ability.
I'm not sure what should happen if a teleport is attempted when the Grey doesn't have enough energy. Maybe the balance should be taken off his health. In an extreme case, he could drop dead on arrival.
