Posts: 18 26-Dec-07 18:00	Tags : None Hi, I bought a copy of the game on eBay and installed it. I started an online game, and when I try to play the turn my opponent just sent me, it says "client exe out of date, please download newer version." Can anyone tell me where the newer version is, and how do I download it and not be considered to be in the free trial and only get the marines, etc.? Thanks, Chris

I'm not sure about all this, but does buying the physical game not give me full access to the website, online play, etc.? Thanks, Chris

Posts: 2809 26-Dec-07 20:37 Blutkind	Hm, i don't know what exactly is present in the physical copy of the game (upgrading free trial to full is generally better way to "buy" it), there should be something that will allow you to "make" the account full and then you'll be able to download new version. And why can't you finish your game with whoever you're playing? Has your trial account run out of turns? If so you must have liked the game!

Posts: 3879 28-Dec-07 09:46 One by one, the penguins take my sanity	Hopefully you can just click on get wholegame as Gobbo says, but if that doesn't work then trying to play a turn may have deposited a file in your games folder which will still stop you playing... if this is the case go to: Start, My computer, Hard disk, program files, laser squad nemesis, and finally games. In here there should only be folders... if there are any turn files they will have to be deleted before you'll be able to play any more turns. Anyway, hopefully that step won't be needed and you'll be back playing LSN again very soon

I can not log into the web interface to download the newest version without first buying the game AGAIN. Is this a scam? No response from their email support... I made the mistake of buying more than one copy, one for my wife. This is going to be a big disappointment when she finds out. There is NO WAY I am going to repurchase this game two more times just to be given a user/pass. What am I missing here?

My issue was that I had the DEMO installed, just simply going to Start > All Programs > the running the UNINSTALL tool will NOT remove game to the point that the CD will work for you. Follow the steps below... Step 1) Open "My Computer", then open your C: drive, then open your "Program Files" folder and delete the folder called "Laser Squad Nemesis". (if you do not have this folder, proceed to Step 2) Step 2) Install the game, run it, click on Non-Subscriber, that is where you set your user/pass and enter the code. Step 3) Log in to codo-linux1.bytemark.co.uk/LSN/login and click "DOWNLOAD" to get the newest version of the exe This may be common knowledge to the experience folks, but for novice users this was an extremelly annoying situation and caused me to waste several hours today. I hope this will help others in the future.
