After you've read the only message/only few messages in the forum and return to the main forum by backtracking (and the posts are still showing as
"new"), do you still exit the forum in to the main room by pressing "mark all as read" altough you know they will be marked as read when
you exit any other means too?
To me it has become as a habit, but I don't mind. So, do you? (See results)

Mark as read? I've never used it. To be honest, I've never paid attention to the 'new posts' or 'unread' indicators because they never
updated correctly before. I just look at the threads I'm interested in and check the date of the last post to let me know if anything is new.

I'm surprised Indri - they always worked fine for me! If I've read the topics I don't click MAR as it's not necessary, but if I want to clear a
forum without reading all the posts then I will (eg the belts forum) as otherwise each time I pop in the forum it will show new posts which I'm not
interested in.
