I assume you are referring to things like Alliance and Specialist leagues, which are team compo's and open to new players, but not unsubscribed players. If you did mean tournaments then there are still places available in the tank convoy tourny. Basically all compo's etc are open to all subscribed players, but not unsubscribed.

Some of them have very short waiting lists (others you'd be waiting over a year for!!) and they make for fun compos. They're played as friendly matches so it doesn't affect your league rating if you lose, and the 'belt holder' can display a medal whilst they are competing (eg the one in my sig with a picture of an egg). They have to win 7 games in a row (1 to claim the belt and then 6 defences) to get a silver plate (the first one in my sig) which can be kept permanently or 13 (12 defences) for a gold plate. Specialist league (click the banner in my sig to go to the forum) is a team competition and will be starting a new season in November, and there are always teams needing new players for a new season, so you might want to have a look. I noticed you've already registered on the Alliance forum which I help to admin. It is another team compo, again which regularly has openings for new members. I am also currently running the Cyborg League which is a marine vs mech compo. The current season is drawing to a close and I'm going to leave it a couple of months but will probably start it up again then. Welcome to LSN, and also to the forums, hope I haven't bombarded you with too much info!
