Posts: 2382 20-Jan-07 23:54	Tags : None Born to Play FAQ Q: Who can join this tournament? A: You can join this tournament if you subscribed 3ish months ago or less or consider yourself a newbie. I'm not sure how to check this, so I will have to trust that you are honest! Q: What are the rules of the tournament? A: All games are to be played with the following settings: - Wipe Out - 20 Force Points - Random Map - All Races Allowed - 15 Days - 30 Turns. Q: If I join, who will I be playing against? A: The tournament is set up like this; you play against all other contenders in the tournament. Each win awards 1 point. In the case of a draw, a deciding game will be played amongst the players with the same scores. Q: When do we start? When there are enough players (5 or so) I will make a post and inform everyone about who to challenge and so on! Example : 1st Place & Champion : ExampleGuy 2nd & 3rd Place : Loser2 & Loser3 Contestants : ExampleGuy, Loser2, Loser3. Matches : ExampleGuy vs. Loser2 * FINISHED* Winner: ExampleGuy +1 Point ExampleGuy vs. Loser3 FINISHED Winner: ExampleGuy +1 Point Loser2 vs. Loser3 FINISHED Winner: Loser2 +1 Point. TOTAL : ExampleGuy 2 Points Loser2 1 Point Loser3 0 Points Q: I'm ready! How do I sign up? A: Post a note in this thread saying you wish to enter and I shall make a note of your name. Then when there are enough people (5 or so) a tournament will start. Tournaments : No : 1 Winner : Second & Third Place : Participants : RagmanPD, Wellan, Zarrbe, corknut, Lagwagon. Not all new players even check out the forums for a while, and often its because someone like me goes "fishing" for new players in open challenges and tells them about it. Say the higher ranked player can only deploy one unit worth more than 3 points and one worth more than two points etc...So for instance: Rookie vs Battle Hardened Elite Rookie gets to deploy anything, BHE can only deploy one unit thats worth over 1 point...its actually a great one for the T method thingy but for players like me thats too complicated to implement.. You could do it as a compo and have it that any player who is ranked say 50 points higher than his opponent is given a handicap. 100 points and the handicap is worse...It could work ...You could limit race too LSN:Limavictor426League:Elitealliance:The Cursed ClownsSpecialist:The Company "Good play inspires luck,bad players moan about it"
