Posts: 5397 14-Jul-05 18:23 Tori Fan	Tags : None once upon a time, long long ago, i played two games against csiphon on The Stand. CLICK HERE FOR MAP IMAGE I pre-set the conditions: marines deployed as blue, spawn deployed as green. we played it once, each way. Both matches were a lot of fun for each of us - desperate marine/spawn battles always are. Posts: 695 14-Jul-05 20:16	you've misspelt 'proposed' you've missed off 'challenger must deploy spawn' b- must try harder I would be up for a go on that though, I think it's a cracking idea, sounds like lots of fun. Top priority is a good name, in my opinion. My first thought was the 'oh shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit' belt, but that probably wouldn't do. I suppose the 'Spawn Defence Belt' is the ronseal title, but it's not very inspiring I don't think. the... Eat My Shorts belt Gnash Me If You Can belt Chew On This belt You Always Were An @#%$, Gorman belt Surrounded By Queens belt Goo & Grenades belt Teeth and Guns belt Surrounded By Bugs belt ...? I wouldn't worry about the medal making, there's someone out there who seems to pop up and make medals just at the right time.

Starship Troopers would probably be copyright infringement... um... the concept of being mostly surrounded is an important one, so it'd be cool to get that worked into the name somewhere without it coming out too cheesy. in the meantime though, would anyone like to form an orderly queue of challengers? i'm going to proclaim myself holder and there's nothing that you can do about it!!!!1!1!!!one!!

MrE got things rolling with a speculative gooball right from the off, in keeping with the name of the belt and has been doing some scouting with buzzers, as you might expect. i've managed to bag two of them for no loss (other than the information) although some of my grunts got a bit singed by a 'nade that went astray... just as it left the window a buzzer cunningly deflected it off towards where they were intending to dig in . . . ouch. my medic killed one of the buzzers by beating it down with a stick, where it was gnawing on the back of one of my grenadier's head. there's another one swooped in to take it's place now: maybe he's got jam smeared on his armour? we'll see if the medic can make it 2 for 2 before the 'nader perishes. i'm expecting to be awash with goo any minute now, as he's scoped out where i am it's already coming in the windows - but much more alarming at the moment is the splatter making its way towards the south entrance to the building. run away!
