Similarly to SB I often browse but rarely feel the urge to post. What we need is a few more controversial posters, such as LV426, Wargamer Scott and the wooters were in the past. Nothing increases the post count like a good rant.

What we really need is something to drum up a bit of excitement in the game. Like...the return of the legendary LSN Number One For Life Hero Boy to the game. A set of exhibition league games vs the current top 5 in the league, perhaps!

It would also be really nice to have some more tournies, like the ones HB hosted a while back. Those were a lot of fun - I know we have other tournies, but those were nice and easy to...

Ayear ago if I didn't check the forum for a day or 2 there would be sooooo many new posts it would take ages to catch up.... these days I can pop in once or twice a week and it only takes 5 mins to see all the new posts

I don't post nearly as much as I used to either.

It's definitely slowly dissolving

I can see the truth in Brootal's statement. That and the ads coming here to stay.

Personally I always miss noticing the sub forums a lot. However, regardless of that, the forums are a lot less active, but I think they've been slowing down even before the change to yuku. It may well have been the catalyst for a lot of players who were borderline to stop visiting so often.

I have wondered if making 'polls', 'strategy and tactics' etc. into subforums has not helped. It makes it difficult to see when new posts have arrived, as well as making them easy to miss.

A few of the more vocal members also seem to have retired.
