You can edit the registry - press 'start', then 'run...' then enter 'regedit'. Seach for 'lsn' and 'lsn' text with ctr-F. You can then try manually deleting anything lsn related, and then try reinstalling the software (you shouldn't need to unistall or delete first). Find the .LSN & .LSB file type listed and set it back to default, or delete it and reinstall the LSNs one more time.

Although... an 'out of date' error sounds more like a registry error. Ive tried re-installing both of them.

After the reinstall, I get the completely same error message, even if the LSN Beta is uninstalled. The game considers version 3-09 out of date.

Did you reinstall one, the other, or both?

Did you try to setup the file associations for .lsn & .lsb by hand?

The beta interface works all fine, but it messed up the version 3-09.

Now, when I try to open results files from the server it just gives the message client exe out of date. Please download newer version I guess it was foolishness to install the beta version in the same directory as the regular LSN, but I blame honest ignorance and late night.
